This paper discusses the significance and methods of food safety standardization talent training and provides suggestions for further improvement. Keywords: food safety, standardization, talent training Introduction With the continuous development of society and economy, the food industry has become an important pillar of the national economy. However, problems such as pollution of raw materials, excessive pesticide residues, and illegal additives in food have seriously affected peoples health and safety. In order to ensure the safety of food from the source, standardization work has become more and more important. This paper aims to investigate and analyze the current situation of food safety standardization talent training, and put forward targeted improvement measures. Current Situation of Food Safety Standardization Talent Training At present, the training of food safety standardization talents in China mainly includes two aspects: education system and training system. Among them, the education system mainly includes undergraduate and postgraduate education, with the focus on cultivating theoretical knowledge and professional competence. The training system is divided into on-the-job training and external training, which is more practical-oriented. However, despite the existing education and training systems, there still exist many problems. For instance, the quality of undergraduate education in food safety standardization is uneven, and the cultivated talents cannot fully meet the demand of the industry. In addition, lack of practical experience and high costs are also obstacles for some employees to participate in external training. Suggestions for
