Teaching procedure: Step 1 Greeting How are you? I’m fine, thank you. Step 2 Warm-up Greet with the main characters in this book. “Good morning.” Read and spell the key words in unit three. Step 3 Presentation and Practice Let’s talk 1. Read and talk. T: Open your book and turn to page 38. Look at the picture and tell me who can you see in the picture? What animals do you see? Let the Ss read the sentences after the VCD. Read the sentence after the teacher. Let several groups present “Let’s talk” in the front of the class. T: Who wants to be Wu Yifan / Mike? Take notes: Oh, no! 噢，不好了！ Let’s play. Watch the VCD read after it. Play “Let’s play” and ask several Ss to answer the questions. Let someone come to the front and present the dialogue with me.
