This restricts thhe use of the following sixx hazardous substances in the manuffactures of vvarious typess of he electrical aand electroni th c devices: • Lead (Pb) 1000 ppmm • Mercury (Hg) 1000 ppm • Cadmium (Cd) 100 ppm • Hexavalennt Chromium (Cr+6) 10000 ppm • PolyBromiinated Biphenyl (PBB) 1000 ppm • PolyBromiinated Dipheenyl Ether (PBBDEs)(includding Deca-BDDE) 1000 pppm Exxemption: • 6(a): Leadd as an alloyying elementt in steel for machining ppurposes andd in galvanissed steel conttaining up to 0,35 % leadd by weight • 6(b): Leadd as an alloying element in aluminiumm containing up to 0,4 % lead by weigght • 6(c): Coppper alloy conntaining up too 4 % lead bby weight • 7(a): Leadd in high melting temperraature type soolders (i.e. leead-based al loys containiing 85 % by wweight or moore lead) • 7(c)-I: Eleectrical and eelectronic commponents containing leadd in a glass oor ceramic othher than dieleectric ceramic in capacittors, e.g. pieezoelectronicc devices, orr in a glass or ceramic mmatrix compoound • 15: Lead in solders to complete a viable electrrical connection between semiconductor die and caarrier within
