To upgrade your meter, just use the RS232 cable that was included with your meter (cat. no. 1010053), back-up any data stored in the meter and follow the instructions below: 1. To get your FREE update, download the latest software file: Orion StarA200_A320 Software Upgrade Available at /water or /waterlibrary. 2. Run the program to install the software file onto your computer. Connect the RS232 cable that is packaged with the Orion Star A200-/A320-series meter to the communications port on a computer. Turn on the meter if it is off and ensure uninterrupted power during the update. (If it is a portable meter, use fresh batteries or optional power adapter – cat. no. 1010003, sold separately.) Run the software upgrade program. Review and accept the licensing agreement. The “Serial” button should be selected for the communications method.
