In order to avoid the loss of regional ethnic architectural culture, the variation process of Dai dwellings in Dehong is studied, the activation mechanism of Han culture is analyzed, and the reasons of localization is further found out so as to fundamentally find a solution to bad variation caused by Han culture phenomenon and to effectively promote benign update of Dai dwellings.in Dehong. In this paper, through studying the mechanism of Han culture on the variation of Dai folk houses, tracing the influence of Han culture and summarizing and analyzing its influence, this paper summarizes the process and characteristics of variation and development of Dai folk houses in Dehong, and then discusses the causes of variation of Dai folk houses, which provides important reference for the protection and development of Dai folk houses in the future.
