背景知识
校园开放日是学校对外开放的日子，常采取集中开放与日常开放相结合的形式进行。在这一天，家长和社会各界人士均可到校参观并参与学校的一些活动。通过这种对外交往形式，可以加强学校与家长和社会的联系，提升学校的社会影响力。
教学步骤
Step I 呈现
与学生就自己学校的情况进行交流，呈现新知识。教师说：Look at our school Is it beautiful? Do you like it? 鼓励学生表达自己的真实观点。教师说：I think
our school is beautiful. It is so good. 板书 so。接着问学生：What can you see in the school? 鼓
励学生根据实际情况回答：We can see tall trees, beautiful flowers and a playground.
教师接着向学生呈现事先准备好的校园图片。教师说：In our school, we can also see some buildings. Look at this building. Some tall trees are in front of it. 板书 building 和 in front of。教师呈现更多照片并说：What’s in front of …? Which building is our classroom in? Which building is our art room in? Which building is our school hall in? 板书 hall，检验学生掌握的情况。教师接着说：Look at this building. How many floors are there in the building? 和学生一起数：Let’s count. One, two, three, four. Oh, there are four floors in this building. 指着一楼说： This is the ground floor. Is our classroom on the ground floor? 板书 ground 和 on the ground floor，鼓励学生根据实际情况回答。
教师利用所在教室继续呈现新知识。教师说：Our classroom is on …floor. The classroom is so bright. We have a computer room too. It looks very modern. 板书 bright 和 modern。
Step II 操练
向学生展示校园的平面示意图，指导他们用学过的表达谈论自己的校园。教师
说：Our school is a beautiful school. Today, some foreign visitors come to our school. Would you please look at the map and introduce our school to them? 教师可以为学生提供一些句型：
There are…buildings in our school.
There are…floors in the building.
… is on the ground floor.
The classroom is....
… is in front of….
鼓励学生看平面图，用简单的语言介绍校园。对有能力的学生，可以启发他们用更丰富的语言介绍。
