Introduce the topic of the current lesson: TV shows and preferences. Show images of different TV shows to elicit vocabulary related to genres, characters, and opinions about them. Engage students in a brief discussion about their favorite TV shows and why they like them. Vocabulary Introduction and Practice: Introduce the target vocabulary related to TV shows, such as sitcom, drama, cartoon, reality show, game show, sports show, etc. Write the words on the whiteboard and provide brief definitions or explanations. Use examples and ask students to create their own sentences using the target vocabulary. Conduct vocabulary practice activities such as match the words with their definitions or fill in the blanks with appropriate words.
