In recent years, Chinese herbal medicine has gradually received attention, especially the role of Tongfu soup in repairing gastrointestinal function. The purpose of this report is to explore the impact of Tongfu soup on the recovery of gastrointestinal function after abdominal surgery. First, this report briefly introduces the ingredients and pharmacological effects of Tongfu soup. Secondly, through literature review and experimental research, the role and effectiveness of Tongfu soup in the recovery of gastrointestinal function after abdominal surgery are analyzed. Finally, based on clinical practice, suggestions for further research are put forward.
