By conducting a questionnaire survey and analyzing relevant data, the following conclusions were drawn: 1. Non-intellectual factors have a significant impact on the English speaking level of high school students. The survey results show that factors such as confidence, language environment, and English learning goals can affect students speaking performance. 2. Confidence is one of the most important non-intellectual factors affecting English speaking level. Students with low self-confidence perform significantly worse in speaking than those with confidence. 3. The quality of the English language environment directly affects the English speaking performance. The more exposure to the English environment, the better the students speaking performance. 4. Students English learning goals will also affect their speaking level. For those students who hope to study abroad or engage in international communication in the future, English speaking training is more important. Through the analysis of these results, it is recommended that schools pay attention to the cultivation of students English self-confidence in English speaking teaching, create a good English language environment, and provide more opportunities for English speaking training to improve students English speaking level. 【Keywords】Non-intellectual factors; English speaking; High school s
