重大科技事件的电视直播报道研究的中期报告 【Abstract】 This mid-term report presents the preliminary findings of a research project on televised live coverage of major technological events. Drawing on a range of theoretical perspectives, our study aims to understand the ways in which TV broadcasters frame and present these events to audiences, and the impact these presentations have on public perception of science and technology. In the first phase of our research, we conducted a content analysis of live broadcasts of three major technological events, focusing on a range of variables such as sources of information, use of graphics and visuals, and the language used to describe technical concepts. Our initial analysis suggests that there are significant variations in the ways these events are covered by different broadcasters, and that there are clear patterns in the framing of these events that have implications for the public understanding of science and technology. 【Introduction】 The growing importance of science and technology in contemporary societies has led to an increasing emphasis on the coverage of major technological events in the media. These events, which range from product launches to technological disasters, are significant not only for their practical implications but also for the ways in which they shape public understanding of science and technology. Television news in particular plays a crucial role in presenting these events, given its wide reach and its ability to convey complex information to a broad audience. This research project aims to undertake a systematic analysis of televised live coverage of major technological events, with the objective of gaining insights into how these events are framed and presented to audiences, and the impact these presentations have on public perceptions of science and technology. Drawing on interdisciplinary frameworks from media studies, science communication, and sociology, our study seeks to develop a nuanced understanding of the w
