The report analyzes the current situation of coalbed methane resources in the area, establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system, and uses the grey hierarchy theory to analyze the comprehensive evaluation of coalbed methane resources in the area. The results show that the coalbed methane resources in the Fengcheng mining area have moderate potential for exploration and development, and the potential of coalbed methane resources in the east and west of the mining area is relatively high. Introduction: Coalbed methane (CBM) is an important unconventional energy resource. The exploration and development of CBM can not only alleviate the energy shortage, but also reduce the emission of greenhouse gases and pollutants, which is of great significance to energy development and environmental protection. The Fengcheng mining area in Jiangxi Province has abundant coal resources, but the exploration and development of CBM is still in the initial stage. The total thickness of the two coal seams is 4-10m, and the gas content is generally between 8-15m3/t.
