高师乡土音乐教育的实践与思考——以临沂大学乡土音乐课程为例的中期报告 Abstract This report presents an analysis of the practical implementation of Folk Music Education in Gao Shi Township, using the curriculum of Local Music at Linyi University as a case study. The report investigates the main challenges facing the integration of local music into traditional academic curricula and the solutions proposed and adopted to address these challenges. The author evaluates the impact of the course, highlights the strengths of the program and suggests future areas of development. I. Introduction With the globalization of education and the rise of standardized curricula, there has been a growing concern about the erosion of traditional cultural heritages and the need to preserve and promote them. This has been particularly pronounced in Gao Shi Township, where the rich local music culture is in danger of being lost due to the lack of formal education and its integration into mainstream curricula. To address this, Linyi University introduced a course on Local Music in 2018 as a way of preserving and promoting the local culture. This report is a mid-term evaluation of the course that assesses its effectiveness, challenges, solutions, and suggestions for the future. II. Background Gao Shi Township is located in the south of Shandong Province, China. It has a population of over 60,000 people, mainly consisting of farmers and migrant workers. The township is known for its traditional music culture, which includes various forms of folk songs, dances, and instrumental music. However, the younger generation is increasingly losing touch with this heritage due to the influence of modern media and lack of formal education. In response to this, a group of local scholars and educators proposed a course on Local Music in Linyi University. The aim of the course was to provide a platform for the preservation and promotion of the local music culture, as well as to integrate it into mainstream academic curricula. III. Implementa
