Our journey towards freedom and democracy was not easy, and many lives were lost in the struggle. However, the resilience and determination of the South African people prevailed, and in 1994, we held our first non-racial democratic elections.With the election of Nelson Mandela as our first democratically elected President, South Africa embarked on a path of reconciliation and nation-building. Mandelas leadership and vision laid the foundation for the South Africa we see today - a country that is committed to social justice, economic development, and the empowerment of all its citizens.As we move forward, we are faced with many challenges and opportunities. South Africa has a high rate of unemployment, particularly among the youth. This is a pressing issue that we must address in order to ensure a brighter future for our country.
