RATIONALE

RevisionBisanewdocumentthathasanewformat.Itwasproducedtoclarifythefactthatanyrequirementsshouldcome

directlyfromanidentifiedneedandthattheintegrationofanynewsystemshouldbecompatiblewithexistingsystemsand

shouldconsideranyrequiredtraining

1.SCOPE

ThisSAEAerospaceRecommendedPractice(ARP)providesguidancetoachievetheoptimumintegrationofnewaircraft

systemswhichhaveanimpactonthecockpitlayoutorcrewoperatingprocedures.Thisprocessmayalsobeusedfor

modificationofexistingcockpits.
