Abstract:

Thisreportisamid-termreportoftheexperimentalresearchonresolvingcross-culturalmanagementdecision-makingconflictsbetweenChinaandGermanythroughcommunication.Thisreportmainlyfocusesonintroducingthebackgroundandsignificanceoftheresearch,reviewingtheliteraturerelatedtocross-culturalmanagementandcommunication,proposingtheresearchhypothesisandresearchquestions,describingtheresearchmethodsandprocedures,andpresentingthepreliminaryfindingsoftheexperimentconductedinChina.

Introduction:

Globalizationhasledtoincreasedcross-culturalinteractions,whichhavecreatedanewsetofchallengesandopportunitiesforbusinesses.Incross-culturalmanagement,decision-makingconflictsarecommonduetoculturaldifferences.Therefore,effectivecommunicationiscrucialtoresolvingtheseconflictsandachievingsuccessfulcross-culturalmanagement.

Thepurposeofthisstudyistoinvestigatetheeffectivenessofcommunicationinresolvingcross-culturaldecision-makingconflictsbetweenChinaandGermany.Specifically,thestudyaimstotestthehypothesisthateffectivecommunicationcanreducethelikelihoodofconflictsandpromotecooperationandmutualunderstandingbetweenChineseandGermanmanagers.

LiteratureReview:

Theliteraturereviewofthisstudymainlyfocusesoncross-culturalmanagementandcommunicationtheories.Ithasbeenfoundthatculturaldifferencesareamajorcauseofdecision-makingconflictsincross-culturalmanagement.Therefore,understandingculturaldimensionsandtheirimpactsoncommunicationisvital.Hofstedesculturaldimensionstheoryiscommonlyusedasaframeworkforanalyzingculturaldifferences.Additionally,effectivecommunicationstrategiessuchasactivelistening,empathy,andculturaladaptationarerecommendedincross-culturalcommunication.
