Ithinkagainandagain......theultimategoalofourcompetitionisnotwinning,wonthehonor,fortheschoolglory......butapersonaltest,improveEnglishability.Weshouldnotbediscouragedifwescoregoodorbad.

4月10日，星期日。举办全国小学生英语竞赛的日子，我校参赛的同学早早来到学校。

过了一会儿，8:20。英语老师叫我们集合，站排向实验中学走去。到了实验中学，老师又按年级差别给我们分了考场。“丁零零，丁零零……”监考老师开始发卷我用眼睛扫视了一下，题特难，这次准考“焦”了。过了一个小时，竞赛结束了。回家路上，英语老师问了我们“题型难不难”等问题，他希望自己的学生都能取得好成绩。

我反复想，其实……我们参赛的最终目的并不是得奖，获得荣誉，为学校争光……而是对个人的一次测验，提高英语能力。不论成绩好坏，我们都不要灰心丧气。
