2.2Whatiscommunicativecompetence?ThegoalofCLTistodevelopstudentscommunicativecompetence,whichincludesboththeknowledgeaboutthelanguageandtheknowledgeabouthowtousethelanguageappropriatelyincommunicativesituations.Communicativecompetenceentailsknowingnotonlythecodeortheformoflanguage,butalsowhattosaytowhomandhowtosayitappropriatelyinanygivensituation.Ithasfivemaincomponents.Namely,linguisticcompetence,pragmaticcompetence,discoursecompetence,strategiccompetence,andfluency.(FulfillTasks2,Task3Task4on17)

Fivefaincomponentsofcommunicativecompetence(Hedge)
