Menu

Blain

theme

uses

the

Bootstrap

3.0’s

Mobile

Friendly

DropDown

Menus.

Here

are

some

of

the

features.

●Dropdown

Activates

on

clicks.(There

is

no

hover

on

touchscreen

devices).

●Parent

Item

can

not

be

used

as

a

link.

Because

clicking

it

activates

the

dropdown.

So,

it

is

better

to

give

it

a

name

which

descibes

the

other

items

in

the

dropdown.

●Only

1

Level

of

Dropdown

is

supported.

For

mobile

friendliness.

How

to

give

an

icon

to

menu­items?

This

theme

uses

the

font­awesome

icons.

So

select

the

icon

you

want

to

use

from

the

font­awesome

cheatsheet.

The

to

WordPress

Dashboard

Appearances

Menus.

Select

the

menu

you

want

to

edit.

Select

the

item

and

in

the

title­attribute

add

the

class

of

the

icon

e.g.

icon­,

icon­home

or

icon­file.

How

to

enable

the

Slider?

Blain

supports

upto

5

Sliders

which

can

be

purely

images,

or

images

with

some

heading

and

a

tagline.

To

use

Slider

go

to

Dashboard

Appearance

Blain

Settings

Slider

Settings.

There

you

will

see

options

to

add

5

sliders.

Add

the

no.

of

sliders

you

want

to

use.

Leave

the

rest

blank.

For

example

if

you

want

to

use

3

sliders

then

set

up

the

options

for

first

3

sliders

only.

If

you

do

not

want

Heading/Tagline

for

a

Slide,

leave

them

blank.

But,

if

you

use

a

Heading

it

is

must

to

use

an

URL.

As

Heading

will

be

linking

to

an

URL.

Using

the

Slider

on

Static

Front

Page

Blain

will

show

the

slider

on

front

page

and

homepage(your

latest

blog

posts)

by

default.

To

disable

it,

you

can

deactivate

the

slider

from

Blain

Settings.

Using

Slider

on

Individual

Pages

Blain

theme

supports

addition

of

sliders

to

pages.
