processscalesinto0.18umandbelow.Glitchandinduceddelayrelatedto

interconnectcapacitancearemoreobviousthanthepreviousprocess

technology.Inotherwords,noisecoupledfromtheadjacentnetsmayresult

infunctionalfailuremoreeasily.Glitchwillgeneraterippleoftheoutputstate

whenitssmall,andwillcausetheoutputstatechangewhenitexceedsthe

cellnoisethreshold.Thesignaltimingonthevictimnetmaybespeedupor

slowdownbythecrosstalkcouplingnoise,andthetimingviolationsmaybe

generated.Theseimpactsofcrosstalknoiseshouldnotbeignored,andthey

canbepreventedandreduced.However,thepreviousimplementationflow

isnotenoughtosolvethecrosstalknoiseimpacts.Inthisguide,wewill

showthemodelofcrosstalknoise,howtopreventit,howtoanalyzeit,and

howtofixitinanefficientway.
