英语语法状语从句

一、概念?1.定义：在主从复合句中，用于修饰主句中动词、形容词或副词的句子，叫状语从句。?2.类型：状语从句按其在句中的作用分为：时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、方式、让步、比较状语从句九类。?3.位置：由从属连词引导，可位于主句前，亦可位于主句后。位于句首时，用逗号与其后的主句隔开。

一.时间状语从句?（1）主将从现?I‘llringupassoonasIgettoBeijing.

?(2)when主句和从句动作同时发生?before之前?after之后?as并行发生，不分先后

?（3）until\till引导的时间状语从句?A动词是延续性动词，主句为肯定?I‘llwaitforyoutillyoucometoseeme.?B动词是非延续性动词not…until?Ididn’tgotobeduntilIfinishedmyhomework.

（4）since自…以来?主句用一般现在时或现在完成时，从句用一般过去时?Ithasbeen…+since从句?Itisbeen…+since从句?IhaveworkedinthisschoolsinceIgraduatedfromBeijingUniversity.?Itis10yearssinceIbegantostudyEnglish.

二：条件状语从句?（1）主将从现?I’llvisittheGreatWall,ifitdoesn’traintomorrow.?(2)if引导的条件状从所表示的前提或条件将来可以实现?主将从现在完成时\进行时?Wewillgiveyouagoodpriceifyouarethinkingofbuyingit.

三原因状语从句?1?becausesinceas(语气由高到低)引导?why的提问用because回答?Whyareyoulate??BecauseI’mill.

四目的状语从句?（1）由sothat,inorderthat等引导，谓语中常有may,might,can,could,will,would等情态动词。?Hemustgetupearlysothathecancatchthefirstbus.
