In2024,thereareseveralanticipatedchangesinthe

teachingmaterialsforthehigh-levelexamination(高会)in

China.Thesechangesareexpectedtohaveasignificant

teachingmethodsandresourcestoalignwiththerevised

syllabus.Overall,thechangesinthehigh-level

examinationmaterialsin2024willundoubtedlyhavea

profoundeffectontheeducationsysteminChina.

Firstandforemost,theintroductionofnewteaching

materialsin2024willofferstudentstheopportunityto

exploreawiderrangeofsubjectsandperspectives.This

canbehighlybeneficialasitencouragescriticalthinking

andabroaderunderstandingoftheworld.Byexposing

studentstodiversetopics,thenewmaterialsaimto

cultivateamorewell-roundedandknowledgeablegeneration.

Thisshifttowardsamorecomprehensivecurriculumreflects

However,withthesechanges,studentsmayalso

experienceincreasedpressureandanxiety.Thehigh-level

examinationisalreadyregardedasahighlycompetitiveand

furtherintensifythiscompetition.Studentsmayfeel

overwhelmedastheystrivetograspandmasterthe

additionalcontentwithinalimitedtimeframe.Thefearof

fallingbehindornotmeetingexpectationsmayleadto

heightenedstresslevelsandmentalhealthissues.Itis

crucialforeducatorsandparentstoprovidesupportand
