ofrailwaybridgescollapsed.

video“LivingwithThisCity”tellsthestoryoftheeventsaftertheearthquakeandthereliefeffortstorestore

shelter,power,waterandfoodsuppliestothepeopleofKobe.

Thethirdfloorcontainsawallpanelwiththerecollectionsofsurvivors,inparticularyoungchildrenwholived

throughtheevent.Thereareanumberofinteractiveexhibitstoinformandeducatevisitorsabouttheevent

includingavideoofsurvivorsrelatingtheirownexperiences.

Thesecondfloorhasexhibitsandworkshopsondisastermanagement.TheEastBuildingalsoshowsa

documentaryontheKobeEarthquaketwiceanhour.
