Ⅰ.InsulatingglovesandinsulatingbootsInsulatingglovesarecommonlyusedsafetytoolsandimportantinsulationprotectionequipmentinthemaintenance,operation,andtestingofelectricpower.Therearetwotypesofspecificationsforinsulatinggloves:12?kVand5?kV.Thetestvoltageofthe12?kVinsulatingglovesis12?kV.Whenworkinginhigh-voltageareasabove1?kV,theycanonlybeusedasauxiliarysafetyprotectiveequipmentandcannottouchliveequipment.Whenworkinginareasbelow1?kV,theycanbeusedasbasicsafetyequipment.Thatis,withthegloveson,bothhandscantouchliveequipmentbelow1?kV(exceptforotherpartsofthebody).5?kVinsulatingglovesaresuitableforgenerallow-voltageelectricalequipment.Theyareusedasauxiliarysafetyequipmentinvoltageareasbelow1?kV.Involtageareasbelow250?V,theycanbeusedasbasicsafetyequipment.Whenworkinginvoltageareasabove1?kV,theuseoftheseinsulatingglovesisstrictlyprohibited.
