JohnCollierJohnCollier(May3,1901–April6,1980)wasaBritish-bornauthorandscreenplaywriterbestknownforhisshortstories,manyofwhichappearedinTheNewYorkerfromthe1930stothe1950s.Theywerecollectedina1951volume,FanciesandGoodnights,whichisstillinprint.Individualstoriesarefrequentlyanthologizedinfantasycollections.
