1.ReadthisinstructionmanualinitsentiretybeforeinstallingtheProfibus-DPControlCardSI-P

oroperatingtheinverterwiththiscardinstalled.

2.DONOTconnectordisconnectwiring,orperformsignalcheckswhiletheelectricalpoweris

turnedON.

Failuretoobservetheseandotherprecautionsindicatedinthismanualwillexposetheusertohigh

voltages,resultinginseriousinjuryordeath.Damagetoequipmentmayalsooccur.

TheOptionCardusesCMOSICchips.Therefore,thecardcouldbecomedamagedwhenphysically

handledifstaticelectricityispresent.Thepersonhandlingthecardshouldwearadischargestrapto

eliminatethepossibilityofstaticcharge(ifpresent)affectingthecard.

Failuretoobservethisprecautionmayresultinequipmentdamage.
