[Abstract]ObjectiveTocomparetheefficacyandsafetyofsodiumzirconiumcyclosilicateandcalciumpolystyrenesulphonateinthetreatmentofhyperkalemiainchronickidneydisease（CKD）.MethodsHospitalizedpatientswithCKDhyperkalemiaadmittedtoQingyuanPeople’sHospitalfromJanuary2022toNovember2023wereretrospectivelyselectedasstudyobjects，andweredividedintosodiumzirconiumcyclosilicategroupandcalciumpolystyrenesulphonategroupaccordingtodifferentdruguse.Thetwogroupsofpatientswerematchedwith1：1propensityscore，andfinally43pairsofdataweresuccessfullymatched.Theefficacyandincidenceofadversereactionswerecomparedbetweentwogroupsofpatientsaftermatching.ResultsAftertreatment，theserumpotassiumlevelinbothgroupswassignificantlylowerthanthatbeforetreatment（Plt;0.05），buttherewasnosignificantdifferenceinserumpotassiumlevelbetweentwogroups（Pgt;0.05）.Therewasnosignificantdifferenceinthetotaleffectiveratebetweentwogroups（χ2=1.242，P=0.537）.Aftertreatment，thebloodsodiumlevelinsodiumzirconiumcyclosilicategroupwassignificantlyhigherthanthatbeforetreatment（Plt;0.05），therewasnosignificantdifferenceinbloodcalciumlevelbeforeandaftertreatment（Pgt;0.05）.Therewasnosignificantdifferenceinserumsodiumandserumcalciumbeforeandaftertreatmentincalciumpolystyrenesulphonategroup（Pgt;0.05）.Therewasonepatientwithhypokalemiaineachgroup，andnotreatmentrelatedadversereactionssuchasnausea，edema，constipation，abdominalbloatinganddiarrheawereobserved，andnoabnormallaboratorytestresultswerefound.ConclusionTheclinicalefficacyofsodiumzirconiumcycl
