Abstract

1Thisstandardspecifiestherequirementsforthecontrol,monitoring,implementationandsupervisionoftheemissionofairpollutantsfrommedicalsolidwasteincinerationinShanghai.

2ThisstandardappliestomanagingtheemissionofairpollutantsfromtheexistingofmedicalsolidwasteincinerationfacilitieswithinShanghai’sjurisdiction,aswellasconductingenvironmentalimpactassessments,designingandconstructingnew,modifiedorexpandedmedicalsolidwasteincinerationprojects.Italsocoverscompletionacceptanceofenvironmentalprotectionmeasures,dischargepermitmanagement,andpost-completionairpollutantemissionmanagement.

3Thisstandardadoptsasingle-factorevaluationmethodwherenon-compliancewithanyindividualmonitoringitemwilldeemthemedicalsolidwasteincinerationfacilitiesnotmeetingthestandard.

4Fortheemissionoffluegaspollutantsfromexistingincinerationfacilities,thelimitrequirementsspecifiedinDB/31767-2013shallbeimplementedbeforeJune1,2025,andthelimitrequirementsspecifiedinthisstandardshallbeimplementedfromJune1,2025.thenew,modifiedandexpandedmedicalsolidwasteincinerationfacilitiesmustimplementthestandarduponitseffectivedate.
