Abstract:OBJECTIVE:Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatetheresearchstatus,hotspots,anddevelopmenttrendsin

thefieldofphysicaleducationassessmentinChinaoverthepast20years,providingvaluableinsightsforfuture

researchinthisarea.METHODS:UtilizingtheCiteSpacevisualizationtool,asampleof178researchpapers

relatedtophysicaleducationassessmentinChinafromtheChinaNationalKnowledgeInfrastructure(CNKI)

database,spanningtheyears2004to2024,wasselectedforvisualizedanalysisofpublicationtrends,authors,

institutions,andkeywords.RESULTS:Overthepasttwodecades,theannualpublicationvolumeinthefieldof

physicaleducationassessmentinChinahasshownadecreasingtrend.Themostprolificauthorintermsof

publicationvolumeisYuSumei,whileNanjingNormalUniversityistheinstitutionwiththehighestnumberof

publications.Researchhotspotsprimarilyrevolvearoundassessmenttargetsandassessmentcontent.Future

researchisexpectedtofocusonareassuchasphysicaleducationideology,learninginterest,andpractical

teaching.CONCLUSION:Thefieldofphysicaleducationassessmenthasgarneredwidespreadandsustained
