Thisweek,thediscussionofthetwobookswentsmoothly.Thecontentofthesetwo

chaptersareboththecoreofthewholebookandarestillchallengingtounderstandbut

sincewemadenotesingreatdetailthistime,theprocessoforganizingwentwell.We

firstmanagedtofigureoutthemajorcontentandtoslogiccontainedinthesetwo

books.Thenwecombinedthemwithwhatwehavelearnedfromtheprevioustwo

chapters.Intheend,wehadakindoffreetalktoeourownunderstandingand

opinionsofthem.Duringthewholediscussion,everyoneofusparticipatedactively

andenabledourideasedfullywitheachother.Thoughtherewerestillsome

questionshangthere,wevealreadylearnedalotfromeachother.

Asforbook7,wethinkthestructureandlogicarequietclear.First,inordertofurther

understandtheimportofeducationdescribedinthepreviouschapters,Socrates

proposedtheallegoryofthecarvenwherephilosophersgovernthepeopleandcultivate

themaimingattuningpeopleseyesoftheirsoulstotherightquarter,totheknowledge
