ThesiteofthedesignislocatedinBandaAcehinIndonesia,wherehassufferedfrom

tsunamiforalongtime,especiallyin2004.Thedesignintendstobuilda

multifunctionalself-recoverycoastwhichwillresisttsunami.Bycomparingthe

picturesofthestatusbeforeandafterthetsunamifrom2004to2010,wecanseethat

sincethecityadoptedapassivemodetodevelop,themutualinfluenceweentsunami

andcityhasbeenaviciousspiral.Eventhoughthelocalgovernmenthastargetedon

tsunamimultiplestripsforrepair,cityisstillwashedintoablankeverytimeafterthe

tsunami.

Throughthecomprehensiveanalysis,we’llsuccessivelysolvethefiveareasofurban

district,traffic,warning,protectionandeconomicissues.Firstly,inordertosolvethe

urbandistrictproblem,continuummodelhastobennedinthedirectionfromthesea

tothecity,whichcontainscitybuilding-overheadconstruction-floatingarchitecture,to

meettheneedofcitydevelopmentandtoreducetheimpactofthetsunami.Secondly,

inordertosolvethetrafficproblem,reasonableroadsystemhastobennedwhich

containsmainroad,secondaryroad,andescapingroadfromtheseatothecityatthe
