downloadarecentstablereleasefromoneoftheApacheDownloadMirrors.

1.3LocalBookKeeper

Underorg.apache.bookkeeper.util,youllfindajavaprogramcalledLocalBookKeeper.java

thatsetsyouuptorunBookKeeperonasinglemachine.Thisisfarfromidealfroma

performanceperspective,buttheprogramisusefulforbothtestandeducationalpurposes.

1.4Settingupbookies

Ifyoureboldandyouwantmorethanjustrunningthingslocally,thenyoullneedtorun

bookiesindifferentservers.Youllneedatleastthreebookiestostartwith.
