Thelatestobservationsofthe“candyfloss”planetrevealevidenceofgaseslikewatervapor(水蒸气)intheatmosphere.Itisalsothefirsttimethatthechemicalpositionofcloudsonanotherplanethasbeenidentified—inthiscase,akindofspecialsand.TheplanetsatmospherewouldfeaturesomethingsimilartotheEarthswatercyclebutinvolvesandcyclingbetweensolidandgaseousstates.Fromthehotter,lowerlevels,withtemperaturescloseto1,000℃,somesteamwouldriseup,coolandformgrainsofsandtoosmalltosee.Eventually,thesecloudsofsandwouldbeheavyenoughandtheywouldrainback.
