Maintenancesupportbeam:Isthetransversebeammountedonthelowersectionofthetowerswhose

missionistoprovidesupportforliftingandpropercementofgroundcabinets.

4DESCRIPTION

Thebeamshouldbeassembledaccordingtothesectiondrawing.

Becausegroundcabinetsarebiggerthantheaccessdoorofthetower,andthereforecannotenterthrough

it,itisneededtoceonthefoundationofthetowertolater,mountthelowersectiononthefoundation.

Todothis,onlyonesectorofthetformshallbemounted(seeOP078555).

Themaintenancebeamallowsmanipulatingthegroundcabinetswhilethelowertform(tform0)is

beingmounted.

4.1ASSEMBLYOFMAINTENANCESUPPORTBEAM

Themaintenancesupportassemblyconsistsof:maintenancebeam,twobracketsweldedtotheshelland

beamconnectionsystemtomediathatconsistsof2bolts,2nutand4washers.

Thestepsthatshouldbefollowedforacorrectassemblyare:

1.Asapreviousstep,weshouldhavethebracketsweldedtotheshellssincetheinternalelementswelding

operationandalsoinspectedbypenetratedliquids.

2.Onceweareintheinternalelementsassemblyprocessweproceedtocethebeaminitspositionand

screwittothebracketwithbolt-nutand2washers.
