AbstractThispapercollectsandusesthetradedataofagriculturalproductsbetweenChinaandAus-

traliawithHScodesegmentof01-20.23-24

andofficialstatisticsfromtheGeneralAdministrationofCustomsfrom2016to2023,andstatisticallyan-

alyzestheoverallsituationoftradeofagriculturalproductsbetweenChinaandAustraliafrom2016to

2023;WiththehelpofRCA,TCIandESI,thetradecharacteristicsandcompetitioncooperationrelation-

shipofagriculturalproductsbetweenChinaandAustraliaarecompared.Theresultsindicatethatafter

theRCEPcooperationframeworkagreementcameintoeffect,theoveralltradeofagriculturalproducts

betweenChinaandAustraliashowedanupwardtrend,withthetradevolumeofagriculturalproductsex-

portedfromAustraliatoChinareachinganewhigh.ThecompetitivenessofChinascategory4ofprima-

ryprocessedfoodandagriculturalproducts,tobaccoandtobaccosubstitutes,intheAustralianmarketis

steadilystrengthening,andthecomplementarityoftheseproductsinbothmarketshasobviouslyincreased

comparedtobeforetheagreementcameintoeffect;Thetradesimilarityfluctuatesslightlyinthemidto
