1.until的用法

（1）作介词，表示＂直到……为止＂。

?ThemeetingmaylastuntilFriday.会议可能要延续到星期五。

2.sothat的用法

（1）sothat引导目的状语从句，从句谓语动词常用情态动词may/might/can/could等。

?Wewentearlysothatwecouldgetgoodseats.为了占到好座位，我们早早就去了。

（2）sothat引导目的状语从句，当主句主语与从句主语一致时，可用＂soasto(inorderto)＋动词原形＂转化为简单句。

?Hegotupearlysothathecouldcatchtheearlybus.

=Hegotupearlyinorderto/soastocatchtheearlybus.

为了赶早班公交车他起床很早。

（3）sothat还可以与inorderthat互换。

3.although的用法

（1）although较正式，引导的从句放在主句的前后均可。

（2）although不能与but连用，但可与yet，still连用。
