过去进行时

（时间：60分钟，满分：100分）

一、过去进行时的结构

过去进行时句子中的谓语部分由“was/were＋现在分词”构成。

过去进行时谓语部分的否定式由“was/werenot＋现在分词”构成。

过去进行时的一般疑问句由“Was/Were＋主语＋现在分词？”构成。

二、时间状语

常用来表示过去进行时的时间状语有atnineoclockyesterday，fromninetotenlastevening，atthattime等。

三、过去进行时表示的感情色彩与现在进行时相似，过去进行时也可表示满意、称赞、惊讶、厌恶等感情色彩，也通常与always，forever等副词连用。

eg：Theywerealwaysspeaking.他们老是说话。

四、需注意部分动词是不用于进行时的

(1)感官动词：hear，see，feel，taste...

(2)表示爱憎的动词：like，love，hate...

(3)表希望、意愿的动词：want，wish...

(4)表占有的动词：own，have...

(5)其他动词：appear，be...

过去进行时还可以和when，while，as引导的过去时间状语从句连用。

when,while和as引导的时间状语从句都可以使用延续性动词，when，as也可以与短暂性动词连用，而while则不能。

例：(1)Iwasdoingmyhomeworkwhenmymothergothomelastnight.昨晚当我妈妈回家时，我正在做作业。(gothome是短暂性动作)

(2)TheycalledmewhenIwashavingdinner.当我正在吃晚饭时，他们给我打电话了。(washavingdinner是延续性动作)

(3)Whilehewasridinghisbike，acarhithimsuddenly.当他正在骑自行车时，突然一辆小汽车撞了他。(wasriding是延续性动作)

(4)AsIwaswalkingonedayinHydePark，Inoticedtwoelderlyladies.有一天，当我在海德公园散步的时候，我看到了两位老年妇女。(waswalking是延续性动作)

when可表示瞬间，也可表示时间段，表示从句与主句所陈述的动作、事情可以同时发生，也可有先后。若主句为过去进行时，从句为一般过去时，则表示一个动作正在进行的时候，另一个动作(突然)发生了，强调后一动作的突然性。

eg：Iwasdoingmyhomeworkwhenmymothercamebackhomelastnight.昨晚当我妈妈回家时，我正在做作业。

while用于同时进行的两个延续性动作相伴随而发生，常对同类的两个动作进行比较。

eg：MymotherwascookingwhilemyfatherwaswatchingTV.我妈妈正在做饭，(与此同时)我爸爸正在看电视。
