Abstract This study provides an in-depth investigation into the application and development trends of intelligent

construction technology in building engineering. By analyzing the current scope of intelligent construction technology

applications in building engineering, the study summarizes its advantages in improving construction efficiency, ensuring

project quality, and reducing safety risks. It also explores the development trends of intelligent construction technology,

including technological integration, cross-industry convergence, green intelligent buildings, artificial intelligence and big

data-driven applications, as well as the prospects for cloud computing and edge computing in construction. This paper offers

theoretical guidance and practical references for the construction industry, contributing to the advancement of intelligent

development in building engineering.
