1．Whatareyougoingtobewhenyougrowup？你长大以后打算做什么？

①“begoingto＋动词原形”构成一般将来时，表示计划或安排要发生的动作，有时也可以表示推测将要或肯定会发生的动作，有“准备；打算”之意。其中的be要根据句子的主语来确定，一般将来时常与表示将来的时间状语。如tomorrow，nextweek，nextSunday等连用。

②when此处用作连词，意为“当……时”，用来引导时间状语从句。在when引导的时间状语从句中，主句是一般将来时，从句要用一般现在时表示将来。

eg：Imgoingtogiveherapresentwhenshecomes.当她来的时候我打算给她一份礼物。

③growup意为“成长；长大”，其中grow的过去式为grew。

2．violinist可数名词，意为“小提琴手”，是以后缀­ist结尾的表示职业的名词。常见的以­ist结尾的职业名词还有：pianist钢琴家；artist艺术家；scientist科学家等。

3．cook可数名词，意为“厨师”。

eg：Hisfatherisagreatcook.他的父亲是一位优秀的厨师。

【拓展】cook还可作动词，意为“烹调，煮，烧”。

eg：Everygirlshouldlearntocook.每个女孩应该学习做饭。

4．practice动词，意为“练习”，后常接名词作宾语。接动词时，应用动词­ing形式。
