Earlyinthemorning,wemetattheparkandstartedourjourney.Thepathwasnoteasy.Itwassteepinsomeplaces,andtheweatherwasabitcloudy,makingitmistyhigherup.Wehadtobecarefulonthewetrocks.Afterabouttwohoursofwalking,wereachedasmallplateau.There,wetookabreak,atesnacks,anddranksomewater.Weweretiredbuthappytoseetheviewfromupthere.Themistymountainslookedliketheywerefloatinginthesky.

Wecontinuedourhike,guidedbythesoundofbirdssinging.Finally,aftermorethanfourhoursofwalking,wereachedthesummit!Wewereallbreathlessandsweating,butthefeelingofaccomplishmentwasamazing.Fromthetop,wecouldseeformilesaround.Theviewwasevenmorebeautifulthanwehadimagined.Wetooklotsofphotosandspentsometimejustsittingandenjoyingthepeaceandquiet.

Itwasgettinglatewhenwestartedourdescent.The下山(xiàshān-togodownthemountain)wasfasterbecauseweweremoretired.Wereachedthebottomjustasthesunwasbeginningtoset,castinglongshadowsoverthetrees.Wewereexhausted,butithadbeenawonderfulday.Hikinginthemountainstaughtusthatwithteamworkandperseverance,wecouldachieveourgoals,evenifthejourneywasdifficult.
