1.可数名词变复数规则变化

变化规则

例词

一般直接加-s

afternoon→afternoons(2025·全国二卷);

theme→themes(2024·新课标Ⅱ卷)

以辅音字母加-y结尾的名词,变y为i加-es;以元音字母加-y结尾的名词,直接加-s

company→companies;city→cities;day→days;boy→boys;guy→guys;monkey→monkeys

以-s,-x,-ch,-sh结尾的名词,加-es。但一定要注意:以-th结尾的名词加-s;如果词尾-ch发音为/k/,要加-s

bus→buses;box→boxes;match→matches;brush→brushes;month→months;strength→strengths;stomach→stomachs

以-o结尾的名词有的加-es,有的直接加-s

hero→heroes;potato→potatoes;tomato→tomatoes;radio→radios;piano→pianos

以-f或-fe结尾的名词,多变-f或-fe为-v,再加-es;但也有的直接加-s

knife→knives;wolf→wolves;roof→roofs;chief→chiefs
