Abstract:ThisstudyaimstoexploretheapplicationeffectofmodifiedBaixueTang(semi-preparedBaxueTang)intreatingphlegm-dampobstructiontypehypertensionandassessitsimpactonintestinalbarrierfunctionandinflammationpathways.Arandomizedcontrolledtrialwasconducted,selecting60patientswithphlegm-dampobstructiontypehypertension,dividedintoacontrolgroupandatreatmentgroup,eachconsistingof30cases.Thecontrolgroupreceivedconventionalantihypertensivedrugtherapy,whilethetreatmentgroupwasgivensemi-preparedBaxueTangplusmodifiedBaxueTangasanadditionaltreatment.Changesinbloodpressure,intestinalbarrierfunctionindicators,andinflammationpathwayrelatedindicatorswereobservedbeforeandaftertreatmentinbothgroups.Theresultsshowedthatthesystolicanddiastolicbloodpressureofthetreatmentgroupdecreasedsignificantlyaftertreatmentcomparedtobeforetreatment(P0.05),andtherewasasignificantdifferencebetweenthetreatmentgroupandthecontrolgroup(P0.05).Theintestinalbarrierfunctionindicatorssuchasintestinalpermeabilityandintestinalmicrobiotadiversityinthetreatmentgroupwereimproved(P0.05),buttherewasnosignificantchangeinthecontrolgroup.Inaddition,thelevelsofinflammatoryfactorsintheserumofthetreatmentgroupwerereduced(P0.05),suggestingthatsemi-preparedBaxueTangplusmodifiedBaxueTangmayplayaroleinreducingbloodpressurebyimprovingintestinalbarrierfunctionandalleviatinginflammation.Insummary,semi-preparedBaxueTangplusmodifiedBaxueTanghascertaintherapeuticeffectsonphlegm-dampobstructiontypehypertensionandcanimproveintestinalbarrierfunctionandinflammatorystatus,providingnewideasforthecomprehensivetreatmentofthedisease.
