Abstract

Operatingmicroscopesareindispensablecoreequipmentinophthalmicmicrosurgery.Whileprovidingsurgicalfieldillumination,theirlightsourcesmayalsocausephotochemicalandthermaldamagetotheretinaandlens,constitutingapotentialpatientsafetyhazard.Withthedevelopmentofophthalmicmicrosurgerytowardrefinementandminimallyinvasivetech
