How much do we understand her, however? In the faraway tropical Pacific and Indian Ocean lies a huge volume of warmest water in the world. Her tranquility is so attractive, while she touches the world in her cunning way. She is just what we are dreaming of —“Pacific-Indian Ocean Warm Pool” Acting as the Flagship in the wrestle between the ocean and atmosphere, she is the cradle of the monstrous genius El Ni?o. Zheng He, the greatest Chinese pioneering navigator, explored the so-called Western Ocean from 1405 leading his huge fleet with seven expeditions. 600 years later, we cast our sight again on this familiar but also unacquainted vast ocean.
