B ased on the tmi etem pera ture superposition ( TTS ), the S igmo id m ode lw as emp loyed to fit the expermi enta l data and the m aster curves of the creep stiffness for the twe lv e asphalts w ere ob ta ined. T he area under the m aster curvew as used to evalua te the low temperature per fo rm ance of the asphalts. The results in d icate tha t th is index has a clear physicalm eaning and can evalua te the low temperature per fo rm ance bette r than the trad ition a l indexes.
