However, the contradiction between market demand and production capacity emerges. The reasonable convergence and matching of steelmaking, refining and continuous casting process should be of great importance to high-efficiency, energy-saving production. This paper mainly studied the reasonable product mix, capacity range, and optimization of matching between furnaces and casters to provide solution for the optimization of product mix and furnace-caster matching in special steel plants.
