Unit I Model Verbs * may, might表示 “可能性”: a. may表示possibility 有可能发生, 但不确定 There is possibility to happen; to be true, but not certain That may or may not be true. I may be late, so don’t wait for me. Your job may well involve some traveling. = It is likely that you have to go some traveling. might在表示“可能性”的时候，更加不确定: He might come here on time, but I can’t be sure. b. can表示possibility, 客观上的可能性，常指在一定条件下会发生：(sometimes) You can get stamps from the local newsagents.
