             * MAHATMA GANDHI MAHATMA GANDHI Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi: the pre-eminent political and spiritual leader of India during the Indian independence movement, having led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. MAHATMA GANDHI Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar, a coastal town in present-day Gujarat, His father was the Prime Minister of Porbander state, they are generations of merchant. He lived in a hindu family, who believe piety, harmlessness and vegetarian diet. MAHATMA GANDHI Gandhi had a ridiculous child marriage. In May 1883, the 13-year old gandhi was married to 14-year old indian girl(Kasturbai Makhanji) in an arranged child marriage,which was the custom in the region of india. In South Africa, Gandhi faced the discrimination directed at Indians. He decided not to accept injustice and to use his knowledge of law to help the Indian people.
