The Li[Li0.2Co0.4Mn0.4]O2 cathode material was prepared by sol-gel method using LiCH3COO, Mn(CH3COO)2 and Co(CH3COO)2 as the starting materials. The starting materials were weighted with a cation molar ratio of Li: Mn :Co = 1.2: 0.4: 0.4 and dissolved in deionized water. Then a certain amount of citric acid was added to the solution (citric acid: Li = 1: 1.2), followed by constant stirring at 80 °C to ensure that the reaction reagents were uniformly mixed. The viscous solution was then dried at 120 °C to give a porous, foam-like substance. This substance was pre-treated at 450 °C for 5 h in order to eliminate the organic contents. The resulting powder was ground well, pressed into a pellet, and heat treated at 900 °C for 15 h, followed by quenching in liquid nitrogen. Land can be polluted by many materials.
