In the 21st century, the information field competition will be the focus of world economic competition, the competition information field will depend on information technology and the information network construction and application level, especially in the 21st century network router as one of the main technology will play an increasingly important role. This paper discusses the function, the router and the related agreement routing classification, tells the router in network applications. Through practical operation of basic experimental, grasps the router configurations of commonly used. This paper focuses on the research dynamic routing, analyzes the characteristics of the dynamic routing protocol to several dynamic routing protocol (RIP, OSPF and BGP) of the experiment. Finally in the laboratory realizes the router NAT Internet dynamic configuration and a DHCP server configuration.
