Step One: Free talk
Do you like sports?
What sport do you usually play? / What sport do you like?
Step Two: Presentation
The students in Class One, Grade Seven like to play different kinds
of sports. Can you tell me what they are? (show the pictures of sports to the students)
Step Three: Listening
Mr. Wu is asking his students about their favourite sports. Let’s listen to
their conversation and help Mr. Wu write the correct letters in the boxes.
Step Four: Completing the notes.
Complete the notes according to the information on P25.
Check the answers and remind the students to pay attention to some important points.
Step Five: Speak up
1) Sandy and Millie are talking about what they often do after school.
Let’s listen to their conversation and answer some questions.
Q1: What does Sandy often do after school?
She often plays basketball.
Q2: What else does Sandy like to do?
She likes to listen to music.
Q3: What does Millie often do after school?
She often plays volleyball and does some reading.

have fun doing sth. = have a good time doing sth. 做某事玩得开心
They have great fun visiting the zoo.
It’s great fun to do sth. = Doing sth. is great fun.
Its great fun to draw pictures.
= Drawing pictures is great fun.
